The Indiana Tech men’s cross country team opened up the season with one of the fastest team performances in school history. The team average of 25:48 and overall time of 2:09:04 were the 3rd best ever and the best since 2008.
Juan Caballero was the top finisher in 13th place overall with a strong season opener of 25:09. Both Caballero and Ayub Sayid (25:37) broke the previous Tech record on the course at IWU.
Bronwyn Nel led the way as the Indiana Tech women’s cross country team opened their season at the Lewis Early Bird. Nel’s time of 15:10 was a freshman Tech record on the course and #2 all-time. Skotti Ball-Duley was the Warriors’ #2 finisher in 16:16.

Today’s the day! We’re opening up our 2025 Cross Country campaign with a pair of meets. The men are heading down to Marion for the IWU Twilight Invitational (6:40 EDT) while the women are over in Illinois for the Lewis Early Bird (6:00 CDT or 7:00 EDT).

MILE SWEEP! McKenna Palmer and Giulio Romano make it an Indiana Tech double in the mile with league titles in the mile! Palmer’s victory makes it back-to-back women’s champions in the mile (Krista Boese won in 2024), while Romano is the 3rd male to win the event at the conference meet.
