Cadet Summer soccer completed with trip to Crew game. Thanks to all for such great work at camps, summer games and Alumni game. Next is a great 2022 Fall season.

4 pm Cadets JV versus Dwenger
5:30 pm Cadets Varsity versus Dwenger
7 pm Alumni Game

Summer soccer in June now complete. The HS teams improving each week and have four victories with no defeats. Great work team! July will be a full schedule once back on July 11th. COED camp and 11 v 11 friendliest everyday that week. Boys camp the following week, July 18. If interested in signing someone up go to Cadet Athletic website and register online. Alumni soccer nothing this weekend due to July 4th on Monday, but start back July 10th, 7 to 8:30 pm at Zollner. Also, do not forget Thursday, July 21st. Summer friendly game versus Dwenger. JV 4 pm, Varsity after and Alumni game to complete the night. The Second Annual Alumni game at Zollner. All proceeds going to Opioid abuse counseling at Cross Connections and Lutheran Social Services in honor of Logan Bauer.

Cadet boys soccer alumni. Summer 2022 has open field at Zollner on Sundays from 7-8:30 pm. The start date is June 12 and end date is July 31st. All welcome to come at anytime. Also, the Second Annual Alumni game in Honor of Logan Bauer will be Thursday, July 21st. The start time around 7pm.

I pray all is well with the Cadet Boys soccer family. Please pray for the Greg Roberts family today. Greg was the original Snider High School soccer coach. He held the position for 36 years. Unfortunately Greg passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022. His funeral is today, June 8th. He will be missed in the soccer community.

The Fall 2021 season officially ended this past weekend with All District games in Indianapolis. As well as the ISCA banquet recognizing All District teams and announcing All State Teams. Ayden Salway Top Team Player, Garrett Werling Second Team All District and Elijah Macke First Team All District as well as Second Team All State. Congrats gentlemen.

Once again a great week of soccer. The Cadets had two shut out wins this week to advance to Sectional finals. Shout out to Garrett Werling in goal and the Cadets backline to have no goals against. Shout out to Elijah Macke with tying a 20 year record of 25 goals in a single season. The record held by Thomas Goines. The Cadets would love to see all of you at Canterbury 2 pm Saturday for sectional final match up. 

Congratulations to both soccer teams for a great Fall season. Junior Varsity team ended with two excellent wins yesterday 1-0 Dwenger and 4-1 Northrop. The JV record was 12 wins 3 losses for Fall 2021. Varsity won against Snider 1-0 and tied Carroll 2-2. The Varsity regular season record of 10 wins 2 losses and 4 ties. The varsity team would like to invite all to watch our sectional games verses Rochester on Tuesday at Canterbury high school 5 pm. If Varsity wins we would play again Wednesday evening 7 pm at Canterbury high school. Once again thank you for all your support. GO CADETS!

Cadets had a great last three games at home. Seniors what a last home game send off 2-0 win against Luers. Please support the teams this last week. Tuesday’s game versus Snider decides 3rd or 4th place in SAC. Thursday’s game at Carroll. Both games great competition leading to Sectionals next week. The Junior Varsity play both nights and then have back to back games Saturday at Zollner.

All invited to come out and recognize the 15 Seniors tomorrow at Zollner. The Junior Varsity game versus Bishop Luers starts at 5 pm. Followed by Senior recognition prior to Varsity game around 6:15.

The Cadets have a three game home stretch starting tomorrow against Norwell. Followed by South Side on Tuesday and Senior night on Thursday, September 23 against Bishop Luers. The team would love your support at Zollner.

Shout out to a great game played by Wayne Generals today. Please pray for the Larry Dafforn family who passed away this past Sunday. Larry was a great parent, supporter and volunteer for Wayne soccer since 1985. He was definitely missed at Wayne’s game this evening.
