Indiana Wesleyan Softball 🥎

18u Jedi Jazlyn “Jazzy” Carteaux 2028, participated in the Huntington University Softball Prospect Camp today. She did really good, 3 outs defensively during the scrimmage and got 2 of them at shortstop and one in right field. Jazzy had one at bat and hit a single. She had good speed times and reported that she had a lot of fun. Thank you Coach Tim Averill for having Jazzy to your camp today!

Our Fort Wayne Force Organization and 18u Jedi Team: Players and Coaches are selling Laundry Soap Buckets, Fabric Softeners, Dryer Sheets, Garbage bags, Dish Soap, Pods, Body Wash, etc to help Fundraise for our College Showcase Schedule of Events this year. Any items sold by our players and coaches directly support them for the upcoming year of travel ball and their expenses and fees.

The 18u JEDI had one whale of a day today on the shore of Lake Michigan at Calumet College of St Joseph going 3-0 on the day and playing some great softball as a team and individual efforts by these ladies were amazing. I’m so proud of all these girls today. They played so good. 35 hits and only 2 strikeouts. Every single girl had a least 1 hit, all but one girl had 2 or more, and the girl who had 1 hit also had 2 walks and a hit by pitch. .547 batting average today. .618 on base percentage. We only had 1 error. And turned 2 beautiful double plays! This team is in a growth spurt as we returned 6 players and added 6 which makes for a super strong 12 players that are all contributing to the success and strength of the team.
