Unfortunately the coyotes followed the same motto on this nice Indiana buck. Congratulations Chris! I'm glad we were able to find him before he was completely gobbled up!
My excitement for Ryan is a little delayed in the video because I've made the mistake of celebrating a little too early. Nonetheless, the buck was dead and it was his. Two important boxes to check before celebrating, ha. Congrats again!

This hunter recovered a nice Indiana buck because he was patient. The hunter was concerned about the evidence after the shot even though he thought the placement was good.
Unfortunately the buck was still alive when we found him but he didn't bump him out of the area by tracking too soon. Congratulations on a real nice Indiana 8 pointer!

The hunter wasn't happy with his shot and blood was very poor. He backed out to give the buck plenty of time (smart decision). 26 hours later I flew and located the buck bedded with a doe. The way he was laying it was hard to see his wound. About 20 minutes later I found him on his feet.
You can see the entry in front of the shoulder and exits on the other side. This was a non lethal hit and the buck is still on his property. The hunter didn't over pressure the buck, and will hopefully get another opportunity at him.
