After three long years of sitting vacant, Avalon Pool has finally sold. We closed on it today, and proceeds will be donated to the Fort Wayne Summer Swim & Dive League once all expenses have been paid. We will leave this page open for people to keep connected. It’s been a long time since we posted anything, but we wanted to let people know to keep a close watch of the Pool property. We have had some new damage to areas that were already boarded up and clearly marked Private Property. If you see people on the property, please call the police. This breaking and entering and vandalism has to stop!

Former Avalon Pool Manager and swim & dive coach, Bill Close, has passed away. He will truly be missed, but his legacy lives on in the Summer Swim & Dive League!

We have painted over the graffiti at the pool. Neighbors, please be on the lookout for suspicious activity. If you see something, call the police.

After a lot of paperwork and preparation, Avalon Pool is finally on the market. Hoping someone will buy it, fix it up, and open it back up for future generations of swimmers to enjoy!

We regret to inform our friends and members that Avalon Pool is closing its doors. We hate to see our Pool closed, but we don't have enough members to keep it open. We will keep the page active - please feel free to post your memories of swimming at Avalon through the years. It's been great fun seeing everyone at the Pool!

Unfortunately it’s another poor pool day. Avalon will be closed the remainder of Sunday, September 1. Hoping tomorrow is better for the last day of the Pool season 🤞🏼

Due to the temperatures, Avalon will be closed for the remainder of the day on Saturday, August 31. Hoping for more pool-like weather the rest of the final weekend of the season!
