Spikes 12U Baseball

Our player of the game yesterday was Benett Grieser! Not only did he hit a no doubt homer (6 on the year) to center field, he had a darn good game at Catcher. Benett brings the positive attitude game in and game out. Way to go, Benett!!

Our boys played their butts off in the heat today at USSSA 12u AA State! Our player of the first game is Eli Oedekoven! He made 3 amazing catches in Right Field!! Our player of the game for our second game is Collin Buell! He went 4-4 at the plate! Let’s go to work in the morning, boys!!

We had a pretty good weekend of Baseball in Kokomo! Little behind on these, but our player of the game from Friday was Brennan Hall! He pitched 3 great innings (30 pitches in 3 total innings). Our player of the day on Saturday was Cohen Falkenstern! He pitched a heck of a game and went 3 for 3 at the plate! On Sunday, Landin Haynes threw a darn good ball game throwing 90 pitches and 60 of them (umpire missed a bunch) were Strikes! On Saturday, our bats were HOT and John Scholze hit his first homer with an opposite field SHOT and Benett hit a “no doubter” WAY over the center field wall. The player of the weekend was Cohen going 7 for 8 in all his plate appearances! Let’s keep this rolling, Spikes!!! See ya next weekend!! Ceraland here we come!

Our player of the day was John Scholze!! John pitched 3 full innings and only threw 7 balls in our win against the Strikers. This kid was on fire from the mound today!! Go Spikes!! ⚾️ l

Today’s player of the game is Landin H! He had 4 great innings pitching and a great hit. We fell a little short today, but had an awesome weekend of baseball! Great job Landin and Spikes! ⚾️

Our players of the second game were Brennan Hall and Isaac Valdez!! Brennan got us started with 3 GREAT innings of pitching on his birthday weekend and Isaac KILLED it at the plate going 2 for 3 and gunning a kid out at home from center field! Great game Spikes! Way to go 2-0! Let’s get it tomorrow! ⚾️

Great day for some baseball! Our Spikes player of the game is Collin Buell!! Collin went 2-3 with 3 RBIs and made great plays at 1st! Great win, Spikes! 10-6 over Rhino Baseball! ⚾️

Our player of the day today is Isaac V! Isaac hit an inside the park home run, and pitched an excellent shut out inning in relief today. Way to go Isaac! ⚾️

Congrats to our boys on being runners up in the Hoosier Classic Ice Out tournament this weekend!! It was a great start to the 2024 season!
