Double Pigeon can humble even experienced yogis. 😅

Agnistambhasana asks for significant hip flexion + external rotation on both sides at once, which makes it a pretty demanding closed position.

If sitting directly on the floor makes your knees lift high or your pelvis roll backward and your spine round, add height underneath your hips.

A bolster, yoga block, or firm pillow can completely change the pose.

You’re not trying to look like the final shape. You’re creating a position where your body can actually work.
