Got the first cleanup under our belt on this warm February day! Started out at the curb line blowing everything back into the lawn, cleaned out the debris from the cracks along the sidewalks and then mulched up and collected the debris from the lawn. And of course laid some stripes!

Still haven’t had to use the Toro for clearing sidewalks but it’s ready to go if we do get the snow!❄️⛄️

Here is a little humor for the day!

Spring is quickly approaching, now is a good time to get your plan together for your yearly fertilizer maintenance. We utilize a 5 Step Fertilizer Program as an added service for our mowing clients. One of the most important applications is the spring application for crabgrass prevention. We apply Dimension for our Crabgrass Prevention and a low nitrogen, the lawn has already built up a big reserve of nitrogen from the winter and the spring rains. Dimension last for about 6 weeks and kills the crabgrass when it begins to germinate and can even kill off the crabgrass once it has germinated and is in the early stages.

The picture here is one of our very first lawns we started to maintain. It was nothing but dirt, straw, and weeds. Each fall we have aerated and overseeded it. Along with a good fertilizer program and proper mowing, it’s one of the best looking lawns in the neighborhood.
