Isaiah 46:10
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
I, like you, have heard this scripture quoted a thousand times as follows: “God knows the end from the beginning.” This is not only not what the verse actually says but is another subject in its own right.
The scripture states God “declaring the end from the beginning,” which brings clarity to Psalm 119:89, “For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
God began with the end in mind. Maybe this is why the writer said in Ecclesiastes 1:9, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.”
God is not surprised, nor can He be, because He began with a destination in mind. He knows where this thing is going. He declared it. It’s forever settled. Could it be the reason we get blindsided, shocked, surprised, and/or amazed is because we have never really considered where or what our final destination is? The end all goal is and always will be to live eternally worshiping the one true God of this world. Yet, we get caught up in the day to day, he said, she said, trying to keep up with the Jones. When in reality, our everyday life should consist of shoulders back, eyes forward, pressing toward the mark daily.
We are on a mission. We are here for a purpose greater than us, greater than we could ever imagine. Whatever you starts today, start with the end in mind.
Our prayer for you this week: May we learn to start with the end in mind.

Psalm 34:1-3
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
“O magnify the Lord with me.” Magnify comes from the ancient Hebrew word gadal, pronounced gah-DAHL, which means to make large, advance, exceed, excellent, or grow. If God is from everlasting to everlasting, if the heavens are His throne and the earth is His footstool, if His right hand spread out the heavens, if the clouds are the dust of His feet as Nahum 1:3 says, and if He can remove your sin as far as the east is from the west, whatman can magnify Him? The answer is the man that can bless the Lord at all times.
Have you really considered the power of a blessing? If blessing the Lord at all times can enlarge an already omnipresent God, what more could it do for your children, marriage, work place, and/or church? How many of us spend our time reminding people of the obvious, alwaysbringing up the negative things? We focus on the shortcomings instead of the good. We point out the flaws or faults instead of the standout attributes of their character.
If blessing the Lord in all things brings Him to the forefront, what do you think it might do in your children’s lives? Learning to speak blessings over your job, spouse, and church could be the turning point in all of these relationships for the better. Join with me, if you would, and let’s make a unified effort to start blessing those around us and see if it doesn’t change the world for the better.
Our prayer for you this week: May you come to realize the power of blessing others.

Psalm 24:1-5
The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Oh how differently humanity looks at opportunity than God. Last week we talked about the condition of our hands andthe danger of idle hands. This week, I would like to talk about where clean hands will take us.
Scripture clearly asks who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? Psalms 3:4 calls the hill of the Lord an “holy hill”. Who can ascend to this place? The man that hath clean hands is the man that can. Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:8, “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.” There is something powerful about lifting holy/clean hands to God.Psalms 28:2-4 says, “Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.”
We think the more wickedness, iniquity, filth, rude, and profane talk we are involved in, the cooler we are. Dirty hands will never ascend to the hill of the Lord, nor stand in His holy place, much less rise to true prominence in the community or workplace.
Our prayer for you this week: May you come to realize what it takes to ascend is clean hands.

Psalms 24:1-5
The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
What condition are your hands in? Are they clean when itcomes to your daily walk in business, your marital relationship, and your walk with God? Are your hands clean when it comes to how you handle not only your family, but friends also? Do we really handle things in a Godly manner, or do we excuse and justify our actions? Are your hands idle? Look at Ecclesiastes 10:18, “By much slothfulness the building decayeth; and through idleness of the hands the house droppeth through.”
The Psalmist said the blessing is in clean hands. Job put it this way in chapter 17:9, “The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.” Again in Psalm 18:20, “The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.”
There really is something to clean hands. What condition are your hands in if God called your number today, not in your eyes, but in His eyes looking through the lens of HisWord, which is what every man will be judged by?
Dirty hands signify two things, that we are sinners and double minded. James 4:8 says, “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”
Our prayer for you this week: May you come to realize the importance of clean hands.
