“Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.”

I think it’s safe to say that we all love movies. Why? Because we love stories. We were made for them. It’s part of who God made us to be. When we watch a movie, a show, or read a book, we become captivated by the characters and their journey. We almost step inside their lives and experience their story alongside our own. We imagine ourselves in it. But the funny thing about movies and books is that for most people, if the story does not end with the hero prevailing, we don’t like it. In fact, we won’t even watch it or recommend it.
Because as much as we don’t know the end, we know, intuitively, that the hero will end up winning. Everything will work out. We want the happy ending. But in our own lives, it often feels like we are doing anything but winning. But even in the worst moments of our story, we can know for certain that while we may not be the hero, we follow the one who is, and He has written our story better than we could imagine or write ourselves with exactly the perfect ending.
