Jackalope Axe Club

In the spirit of the amazing axe community, Jackalope Axe Club wants to pay it forward to deserving throwers in our community. We all know that a lot of our axe family have been hit with some tough times, but we don’t want to lose any of the beautiful people that make axe throwing great. To support that, Jackalope will be sponsoring up to four throwers next season by covering one axe league fee to help out a thrower who might otherwise not be able to join.

At the WATC awards ceremony last year, the WATL auctioned off pies that were to be thrown at WATL owner Mario Zelaya, with the proceeds going towards the One Tree Planted organization. If you are not familiar with One Tree Planted, they commit to planting one tree for every $1 donated.

Here at the Jackalope Axe Club we want to continue giving back to this beautiful sport we all love and cherish so much. Each team member of the Jackalope Axe Club, for the 2022 season and beyond, have chosen to donate a percentage of his or her winnings (up to $100) to the One Tree Planted organization. And because our throwers have decided to be gracious in donating a portion of their winnings, our Axe Venue Sponsors – Jumping Jackalope, Plaid & Timber Axe Throwing, Flying Squirrel Axe Throwing, Got Wood, and Yosemite Axe Throwing – have all decided to each match what our throwers will be donating to the One Tree Planted organization.

We go through so much wood playing this beautiful game and Jackalope Axe Club has made it our duty to give back by making sure more trees get planted.

Jackalope Axe Club took second place today in the second Team Melee event during the Show-Me State Throw Off at Tommyhawks in Springfield, MO! It was awesome having a few of our Canadian family members with us! And special thanks to Leslie Wellman for joining forces with Jackalope this weekend!!
