If you love kayaking & hiking, you will enjoy Lake Mineral Wells State Park.

Come greet our Bison herd. We may even have some calves ready to meet you too. Learn about his iconic animal and assist in feeding them.  Kayaks rent for $30 a day each and the Kayak trailer rents for $20 a day each, You must ren at least 2 Kayaks before you’re eligible to rent the trailer. The trailer uses a 2 inch ball.  For more info Text me at 817-715-1706  We open at 9AM and the kayaks and Trailer must be back by Sunset.

We Love the Sit in side V***r 10 kayak, It has a softer seat and it keeps the spider webs off your legs when paddling in the river at the Fort Worth Nature Center and Refuge, but sit on tops are better for open lakes so you don’t have to worry about waves filling you’re boat and sinking you.  Also we don’t like open lakes because of all the drunk people in speedboats that act like they are going to run you over.

Go kayaking with the alligators at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge for $30 per day per Kayak. All you need is a pick up truck and straps to transport the kayaks to the slow moving peaceful river at the Fort Worth Nature Center & Refuge.  The Nature Center closes at 5 PM. Please make your reservation 24 hours in advance by texting the Kayak Guy at 817-715-1706 between 9 AM and 5 PM Monday through Saturday and 1 PM to 5 PM on Sunday. We are conveniently located 1 mile from the entrance to the Fort Worth Nature Center and they charge six dollars per person to enter the Refuge.
