A BAD DAY DOESNโT GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO MISTREAT SOMEONE ELSE.
As a lash artist and beauty professional, I understand that life isnโt always easy. We all have bad days. We all go through personal struggles, stress, and difficult situations.
But one thing Iโve learned after more than 25 years in this industry is that having a bad day doesnโt give anyone the right to take their frustration out on someone else.
As beauty professionals, we do more than provide services. We listen, we care, we accommodate, and sometimes we become the person our clients share their struggles with.
I genuinely care about my clients. I put my heart, time, knowledge, and years of experience into every appointment. But kindness should never be mistaken for weakness.
We are beauty professionals, not emotional punching bags.
Sometimes clients say hurtful things, make unfair accusations, or blame us for situations beyond our control. Later, they may explain that they were simply going through a difficult time.
I understand. I truly do.
But understanding someoneโs struggles doesnโt mean I have to accept disrespect or continue a professional relationship that no longer feels comfortable.
An apology can be appreciated without automatically granting another opportunity.
Iโve learned that protecting my peace, my reputation, and my professional boundaries is just as important as delivering beautiful results.
To every client: Your lash artist is human, too. We have feelings, families, challenges, and difficult days of our own. Yet we still show up with a smile and do our best to make you feel beautiful.
And to my fellow beauty professionals: You can be kind, compassionate, and professional while still saying NO.
Not every client is meant to stay, and thatโs okay.
Respect goes both ways. A service is a business relationship, not permission to mistreat someone.
I will always choose professionalism, kindness, and mutual respect over keeping an appointment at the expense of my self-respect.
Beautiful lashes are my passion. Respect is my standard.
