Fountain Of Youth| Anti-aging
We begin to age from the moment we enter this world. As we grow older over the years, if we don’t take care of our bodies, the effect of normal aging will stand out. Our organs and systems will breakdown at a faster rate. Heart disease, arthritis, elevated blood pressure and low back issues are just a few of the areas that we will suffer in.
Other negative effects that will occur include decreased hormone production and weakened elasticity in muscles, skin and blood vessels. I must say, no we can’t stop our biological clock from ticking, but we sure can slow it down and reverse or even prevent many ailments!
A consistent dose of regular exercise does the body good! It is one of the key components of slowing down the aging process, along with good nutrition. Our bodies are meant to move. The human body is an incredible organism that works better when active.
The benefits of exercise will have you looking and feeling much younger than your actual age. Staying physically active can make a person that’s older achieve levels of vigor associated with people 30 years younger. This means that assuming there are no underlying disorders, exercise can make a 60 year old as strong and physically active as a 30 year old! Now that’s what you call the fountain of youth!

Stress Relief| A Natural Remedy
We know we can’t completely eliminate stress but we sure can combat it and keep it under control with regular exercise! One of the main benefits of exercise is how it stimulates our neurotransmitters. It is one of the reasons why we feel better after exercising because it mediates our moods and emotions. Stress relieving benefits:
•Exercise helps you feel less anxious
•Exercise relaxes you
•Exercise makes you feel better about yourself
•Exercise can help you eat better
You feel less anxious because exercise takes away nervous energy and calms tension throughout the body. One workout session can provide you between one and a half to two hours of relaxation response. I like to call this the post-exercise high because endorphins(the body's very own natural antidepressant) response gives us a similar feel to morphine. There are multiple neurotransmitters activated that improves our mood and leave us relaxed.
You remember those times you did something physically active? Haven’t you felt better about yourself? Self worth and that accomplished feeling plays a part in stress relief. Exercise can influence us to eat better because it can cause us to crave more nutritious foods, which we know that good nutrition helps our body manage stress better.
Get a healthy dose of physical activity and keep stress and depression under control! It's one aspect that can help your mental health! 👊🏾

Heart Health| Fit vs Unfit
The heart works faster and less efficiently when you give it little to do than it does when you make more demands on it.
Conditioned people who exercise on a regular tend to have a resting heart rate of about 60 beats per minute (bpm) or less. Deconditioned people who does not exercise will have a resting rate around 80 bpm or more.
For example, let's say that the conditioned and unconditioned person were at complete rest for 24 hours. The comparison between their two resting heart rates would look like this:
* Conditioned person
60 bpm, times 60 min =3,600
beats per hour (bph) × 24 h =86,400
beats per day (bpd)
* Deconditioned person
80 bpm × 60 min = 4,800 bph
4,800 bph × 24 h =115,200 bpd
Even at complete rest, a deconditioned person who doesn't exercise the heart forces it to beat close to 30,000 times more every day of life. But no one is at complete rest 24 hours a day, and for ordinary activity such as getting up from a chair, walking across the room, and climbing a flight of stairs, the deconditioned heart would beat way faster than a conditioned heart for the same activity!
The more you move the better you treat your heart! Let's get moving and make that heart strong and healthy!

Accountability|
Reaching for fitness goals takes a lot of dedication, commitment and hard work and can be very discouraging when results are lacking. It's easy to become unmotivated if you're feeling tired or had a rough day which more than likely will cause you to skip working out.
It would be very beneficial to have an accountability partner, preferably a fitness trainer, to help you stay on course and reach your goals quicker and more efficiently.
A fitness trainer will keep you from skipping a workout. When you have only yourself to be accountable to, it is too easy to make excuses.
When you are working out on your own, it is more than likely you're not pushing yourself enough to produce noticeable results. You may not put in the extra effort to challenge yourself safely and effectively. A fitness trainer will hold you accountable by being that encourager with expertise and motivator by your side!
We all need that reminder, constant challenge and extra push to keep moving towards our set goals! 👊🏾

Extreme Sugar Cravings|
If the body doesn't get the fuel it needs, then strong cravings manifest. If you go too long without eating anything, your body will crave the fastest fuel it can think of which mainly consist of simple sugars. They are also known as high processed, "empty carb" foods such as candy and cookies to name a few.
Tiredness is another reason for the uncontrollable cravings because your body is demanding energy to keep you awake.
You also could just simply be thirsty! You can easily mistake dehydration for hunger which is another trigger for cravings.
The body is very smart and will talk to you if you closely listen. It's shouting "I need nutrients, minerals and vitamins", it's screaming "I need fuel to keep running properly".
Let's give the body more water, more protein and a healthy balance of complex carbs and high fiber foods to help bring down those cravings!

Heart Health|
Heart tissue is mainly muscle. The health of heart tissue is determined by its size and how well it is supplied with blood vessels. A deconditioned heart is smaller and weaker because, like any muscle that is not exercised properly, wastes away.
The conditioned heart is strong and healthy. It is larger and highly efficient because each stroke pumps more blood with less effort. The heart benefits greatly when you exercise due to the fact that new capillaries are developed which allows optimal blood supply. If you want an effective & efficient heart, which is your engine, routine maintenance and care is essential!
