With more than 20 years as a YMCA member, including time at the Benbrook Y, David has been part of the Y community since 2014.

Those who know David describe him as kind, approachable, and genuinely dedicated to helping others. He has a natural way of making people feel welcome and is always willing to lend his time, support, or a helping hand.

Today, David helps bring the community and the YMCA together by serving as a liaison between the Y and the Fort Worth Police Department. From attending our Back-to-School Bash to speaking at our Annual Campaign Celebration, David continues to be a valued friend, supporter, and member of our YMCA family.

We’re grateful for the impact David makes in our community and proud to call him part of the Y. 🤗

🍂 Autumn Adventure: Parents Night Out! 🍁

Parents, enjoy a night out while the kids embark on an autumn adventure at the Y! Children will enjoy four hours of fall-themed games, crafts, activities, and fun while you enjoy a little time to yourself. Dinner included!

What a night! Thank you to everyone who joined us at Almacen el Gallo to celebrate the Downtown YMCA and the power of community this past Tuesday.

Together, we’ve raised $116,457 toward our $150,000 Annual Campaign goal — nearly 78% of the way there! Every dollar helps the Y remain a place where children, families, seniors, and neighbors across Fort Worth can find support, connection, and opportunity.

A special thank-you to Adrian Burciaga, Martin Quirarte, and the entire Almacén El Gallo team for welcoming us and making the evening so special.

And to everyone who has donated, attended, shared our mission, made an introduction, or supported us along the way — thank you. This progress belongs to all of us.
