APHA World Championship

The APHA World Championship Show is the world’s premier Paint Horse competition, taking place annually in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Will Rogers Memorial Center. During June and July, the event celebrates Open, Amateur and Youth competitors. The world-class competition has events such as reining, roping, hunt-seat and Western all-around events, and more. More than $1.5 million in awards and money is paid out each year. The World Championship Show also features the World of Color Gift Show and family activities like the Youth Team Tournament, dog races and exhibitor parties. Be sure to join us this summer!

Hosted by the American Paint Horse Foundation, the evening highlights veterans and the impact of equine-assisted services and empowerment programs. Events throughout the night include the Veterans Slide, Heroes on Horses demonstrations, special recognitions and live entertainment.
