A new season brings new faces, new energy, and new opportunities but one thing remains the same: the goal is to compete, grow, and make each other better.

Happy Birthday Coach!

With the 2026 Summer season coming to an end, it is a good time to reflect on what an amazing group of young ladies we had on this team. We ended the season with a record of 37-10-3. We had a pretty successful season, not just because we had more wins than losses, but because we reached the goal that we set in the beginning of the season. Our goal was to get every single one of our players seen by college coaches and ultimately committed or have received offers to play in college. Im excited to announce that all of our awesome athletes have either committed or received their offers. Lots of challenges arose this summer, we had lots of ups and downs, but at the end of the day, this team rallied together and had a strong finish. We played in 7 tournaments this summer and in all but 1 of them, we played in the Championship game for the bracket. Some we won, and some we lost against some talented teams, but the fight and the heart of this team never died. I couldn’t be more proud of this team and all that these young ladies accomplished.

With all this said, I would like to announce that after 7 years of being the Head Coach of STX Bombers National 18U, this was my last season of being in 18U. I would like to thank all of the parents that trusted me with their daughters’ journeys and for all of the support that they provided for the team. I have had some great parents be part of this team and have made lots of friends. I also want to Thank all of the players that have allowed me to be a small part of their journeys. Lots of great memories were made!! Keep being amazing and keep doing great things!! The team will be continuing on but will change their name to Texas Bombers STX 18U National. Follow their page!! As for me, my journey continues. I will be the new Head Coach for Bombers Gold National 14U!! It will be an Academy team based out of DFW but will welcome players from all around!! If you know any 2030/2031 that want to compete at a high level and get ready for their recruiting journey to begin, send them out to the Bombers Academy tryouts on Aug 6 and 7 and tell them to come say Hi and introduce themselves. With the end of the Sparkler a MAJOR chapter ends for this team as well. The future for this team is bright but some changes will happen.

Want to say thank you to Brandi Dixon and Megan Smith for jumping all in this year and helping Jennifer lead these young ladies.

Sadly Coach Jen-a-go has to step off the field full time with this team. Thank you for always choosing and fighting for the girls on this team currently and those that have moved on. Your mentorship will spread beyond the field and you have given back to the game you love. Well done Coach Jennifer.

Some more big news will be coming in the next month. Stay tuned and as always “LETS GO BOMBERS!!” (In my David N. Brown voice of course lol oh and bang a cowbell while you are at it)
