When we have any sort of injury in our bodies, the first step to healing is awareness. It is vital that we take responsibility for ourselves by getting out of the black box of what's happening.
Often, we hand over our power to a medical professional and diagnosis without truly understanding what's actually going on. Yes, western medicine is amazing, yet we must play an active role in our own well-being.
Once we get a clear picture of what's happening, we can begin to live and move in a way that promotes health.
Back pain is so predominant in our society and if you are a yoga teacher, know that a good percentage of students in every single class you teach are currently dealing with back pain.
In our Anatomy & Physiology course led by Stacy Dockins, we discuss the three major categories of back injury along with how to support healing within a yoga and mindfulness practice. We take a look at the healing facets of movement, neural mapping, nutrition, mindfulness & breath work.
Join us July 29-August 5 Fort Worth for this Free Life People school of yoga 500 HR module!

Our life is our ultimate creation, and the first step in creating the life we want is EXPRESSING what we want!
What drives you to express yourself and speak your truth? Where do your ideas and visions for your life come from? How do you express yourself creatively?
Through an exploration of the upper three chakras, you will leave this workshop with a creativity boost, more confidence in ways to express yourself that feel authentic to you, and a deeper understanding of your need as a human being to create and speak your truth.
We will utilize discussion, journaling, meditation and visualization techniques, and a 30 minute yoga practice centered around connecting you deeply with your intuition, creativity, and connection to the Universe.
No prior experience necessary. Bring your mat, towel, water, journal and come with an open mind!

This four day summer yoga series gives your child the tools and techniques to help them navigate through life.
Our children live a very hectic and busy lifestyle. Between competitive sports, video games, homework, school projects and extra-curricular lessons, their time to relax and focus gets lost in all the busyness.
We will be teaching children the techniques of yoga for health, relaxation, and inner fulfillment so they can use them to move through their lives more manageably. Yoga also helps build self-esteem, strength, balance, relaxation, and flexibility in a non-competitive and supportive way.
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays
July 31, August 2, August 7 and August 9, 11:00-12:30pm, Ages 7-13
$60 for entire series, $18/single class
Location: Waxahachie Studio with Laurie
