Congratulations to Joshua on taking first place and big fish at the Lake Granbury tournament today. With an overall score of 77.5 inches and a big fish at 36 inches. Thanks to everyone that came out today. See yall next month at Lake Bardwell.
We will be on Lake Granbury tomorrow for the first tournament of the year. Remember there is not a captains meeting tonight. Instead it will be in the morning at the Hunter Park boat ramp starting at 6am. I look forward to seeing everyone there. If you have not signed up yet, head on over to the FishingChaos app.
With the threat of severe weather this weekend i have made the decision to reschedule the tournament on Lavon. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Anglers that have already registered for the tournament can be refunded or have the entry fees applied to the next tournament. I will announce the new date for this tournament at a later time but it will most likely be in June. Our next tournament will be April 11th on Lake Granbury

Last weekend we had 3 guys go down to Louisiana and represent Texas at the King Kat National Kayak Trail.

This coming year we will be starting a new series a little further west. Anglers in the NTKC series can earn bonus points towards AOY by participating in these tournaments.
We are heading west in 2026. We will be starting a new tournament series in the Big Country region of west Texas. We will be kicking off this series at Lake Brownwood in April.

PKA memberships are now available for 2026 on the FishingChaos app. We will once again be doing our month-long online catfish tournaments and the North Texas Kayak Catfishing in-person tournament series. New to 2026 we will be hosting a Winter Blues tournament in January on Lake Worth, TX and adding a series in west Texas around the Abilene area. We will also be doing a few 72hr online catfish tournaments as well.
There are 2 membership types.
Pro Angler $15
This membership allows you to fish in the online tournaments only.
Elite Angler $25
This membership allows you to fish in the online and in-person tournament.
