Simple home fitness. If you weren’t aware, a thruster is a full front squat into a standing press overhead as one movement. But maybe ignorance is bliss...

Wow, definitely the most challenging one yet! Using a 53lb kettlebell, I made it to 120 of the thruster reps. Check out for a great cause, there’s still time to donate!

As much as I love pull-ups, I’ve had regular gym access for so long that I don’t have a pull-up bar at my house! Thankfully a well placed rafter just inside my garage attic opening allows for some quality strict work. This was part of the NCFIT NC45 programming for yesterday.

It’s the little things in life. No that’s not all the six bucks bought, I got a drip coffee and a sticker for my laptop too. The soda water came with the ristretto, as it always should.

🍕PIZZA, PIZZA 🍕
I had to hurry to get this picture, because the guys at the station weren’t wasting any time getting their plates!! This was a buffalo chicken flatbread pizza with onions and mushrooms. With Flatout brand flatbreads, buffalo sauce, classic ranch, grilled chicken tenderloins,and just enough pizza blend shredded cheese, this makes a terrific low-carb, high-protein meal that’s easy to sneak a load of veggies into with the sautéed onions and mushrooms.

Whipped up a quick batch of protein pancakes this morning at the fire station. Turned out yummy! Topped them with some sugar free syrup and an apple that I sliced, sprinkled just a little cinnamon sugar on, then microwaved for 2 minutes. Who says healthy eating can’t also be delicious?!
