Question...

If you break and run consecutively in an alternate break format, do you still count it as a package? Or would it only count in winner breaks format where it is truly consecutive? 🤷🏻‍♂️

My opponent broke and ran between my racks too, so I didn't visit the table outside of my breaks if that makes a difference to your answer.

Back to back losses end the dream, but plenty of positives to take along with a few things I want to work on.

Lost my third match 5-7 to a 702 Fargo from Los Angeles, CA and that really could have gone either way. Really happy with how I competed in that match.

Then had to play Robert Hall in the other side of the bracket, and he played outstanding overall and spanked me like yesterday's beef. Lost 1-7 and probably should have scrapped a few more racks out of that match, but just got completely outplayed to be honest.

Loved the tournament and can't wait to come back after improving a bit more.

Job done for day 1 with another 7-2 win over a local player from Jacksonville, FL. A very workmanlike win but happy to grind it when the patterns dictate it.

I play my next match tomorrow at 1:30pm and they only get tougher from here.

First match down at 2024 US Amateur Championship. Won 7-2 against a gentleman from Columbus, Ohio but that score line flattered me. It was a much closer game than that. Made a break and run (hopefully the first of many) but need to get a bit more clinical as the tournament progresses.

Beautiful venue and the equipment is excellent. Looking forward to my next match at 6pm before I put the cue away for the day.

If I can maintain this standard consistently, I should give myself a decent chance next week at the 2024 US Amateur Championship.

What a difference a good sleep and a new tip makes. I struggled a bit this week, but have addressed everything now and feel ready for the 2024 US Amateur Championship starting a week next Wednesday in Orlando, FL.
