Took the night off from softball to just be kids, laugh a little louder, and grow closer as a team. These moments matter just as much. Pizza, ice cream, scooters, volleyball, games and LOTS of giggles… 💙🥎

Phew! What a weekend in Denton! Saturday went 2-1 in pool, while getting cut short not playing our 4th game due to lightning. Started Sunday off with a big win against the team we lost to in Pool play. They fought and showed up. We came up short by 1 run against a sister DEx team to end our weekend.
What stands out most isn’t just the wins or losses. it’s the growth. The way they compete for each other, the effort they bring every inning, every rep. We’re building something special, one step at a time.

Tonight these DEx girls got to watch UNT Softball take a solid W against Tarleton (8-2). They got to stand on the field for the National Anthem, get a tour of their brand new locker room and to end the night got some pretty cool autographs.

Mother Nature threw everything at us this weekend…downpours, a little sunshine, a windy and cool Sunday morning, more rain… and then calling the tournament right in the middle of our third game while we were up 12–2. Not exactly how we imagined finishing, but honestly, this team made the weekend something special.
These girls were on a roll. Not once did they complain. They embraced every moment, played through the rain with smiles on their faces, and showed what it truly means to persevere.
This group has been incredible to watch so far this spring. From the small moments to the big plays, they continue to lift each other up, have each other’s backs, and play as one. That kind of heart, resilience, and teamwork is something you can’t teach.

Win or lose, this team doesn’t quit and that’s what makes them unstoppable.🥎💙

Angels for Autism this weekend! Our girls went 2-1 in pool play today. Played in on and off rain and a game that caught a solid downpour. Ready for a new day tomorrow! 🥎
