4 Simple Habits to Thrive (Not Just Survive) This Holiday Season:
The holidays are a time for joy—but they can also bring stress, overindulgence, and exhaustion. As your friendly life & fitness coach, here are 4 tangible habits to keep you glowing through the chaos:
1. Hydrate First, Indulge Second**
Before festive treats or cocktails, drink a glass of water. Hydration curbs cravings, aids digestion, and keeps energy steady. (*Pro tip: Add lemon or cucumber for a refreshing twist!*)
2. Move Daily (Even for 10 Minutes!)**
A short walk, stretch session, or kitchen dance party boosts mood, counters sluggishness, and reminds your body it’s meant to *move*—not just marathon-eat cookies.
3. Pause Before You Pile Your Plate.
At meals, ask: ‘Am I hungry, or just tempted’? Fill half your plate with veggies/protein first, then savor treats mindfully—without guilt.
4. Breathe Before You React**

The question I get the most is ‘what is the difference in a therapist and a life coach?

Therapists and life coaches offer distinct services tailored to different needs.

Therapists — focus on helping clients address emotional and psychological challenges. They utilize techniques to treat issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. Their work often involves exploring the past to understand its impact on present feelings and behaviors, with an emphasis on healing and coping strategies.

Life coaches, on the other hand, concentrate on personal and professional growth. They assist clients in setting and achieving specific goals, enhancing skills, and improving overall life satisfaction. Life coaching is more future-oriented, focusing on motivation, accountability, and actionable plans to help clients reach their desired outcomes.
In summary, therapists help with emotional healing, while life coaches facilitate personal development and goal achievement.
