🦅Eagles of the Week🦅

Daniela exemplifies what it means to be a dedicated student-athlete. Her work ethic, commitment, and willingness to always lend a hand set a tremendous example. Whether she is grinding through workouts in the weight room, competing on the tennis court, or making plays on the volleyball court, Daniela consistently puts in the effort to elevate her team. Last week, she played a pivotal role in defeating Western Hills in Team Tennis!

Esteban is a multi sport student-athlete who always represents DHJ well! He can be found running cross country before school, preparing for soccer season during athletics, and punting for our football team in the evening. His consistency in cross country has been rewarded with 3 PRs this season!

Coach Trevyn Dugar is our new Head Coach for DHJ Boys’ Basketball! He has already been working relentlessly with his players during the athletic period and he’s created opportunities for them with offseason strength & conditioning and open gyms! He can also be found supporting our student athletes at fall athletic events.

Entering his fifth year of coaching, he previously coached at Westfield High School and Aldine MacArthur High School, where he helped develop competitive programs while building meaningful relationships with student-athletes. Coach Dugar is passionate about serving his students, athletes, coworkers, and the surrounding community. His mission is to develop high-character young men through discipline, accountability, and servant leadership while building a championship culture that extends far beyond the basketball court.
