This next week is going to be HOT. âïžđ„” And when temperatures climb, taking care of your body becomes even more important.
Training in extreme heat puts extra stress on your body. Youâre sweating more, losing more fluids and electrolytes, and working harder to regulate your temperature â which means your normal routine might not be enough.
đ§ HYDRATE: Donât wait until practice or your workout to start drinking water. Hydration starts well before you walk through the doors.
⥠REPLACE: When you sweat, youâre losing more than water. Make sure youâre replacing electrolytes throughout the day.
đ FUEL: Heat can suppress your appetite, but your body still needs energy. Consistent meals and snacks help you train, recover, and perform.
đ§ LISTEN: Headaches, dizziness, unusual fatigue, cramping, or feeling âoffâ are signals you shouldnât ignore. Adjust when you need to.
This week, prepare before you perform. Bring your water, fuel your body, prioritize recovery, and take the heat seriously.
The goal isnât just to get through the workout â itâs to keep showing up at your best.
PREPARE. HYDRATE. PERFORM. âĄ
