Bay Area Ninjutsu The Art of the Ninja (Budo Taijutsu / Ninpo Taijutsu) training for Youth, Adults & Seniors. Located inside The Training Center. We offer Youth & Adult classes.

From ages 4 - 99+. The philosophy of the ninja has always been, "If you have a mission to complete (a passion) you will find a way." We believe that here. This is not a sport art. This is an art of self-defense. We follow concepts and applications as well as tradition. Strength is not what is important power is. We teach, taijutsu (body skills). Working from the ground up to move in perfect flow to generate power. This is natural movement of the body. This art works with you and not against. You will learn traditional Japanese martial arts. Some of what you will learn:
Striking, jujutsu, throws, rolls, falls / receiving the ground, escapes, reversals, locks, kata / waza, controlling weak points, unbalancing your opponent, combat, self-defense, fitness, injury prevention, natural movement, mental fortitude, mobility, awareness, control, life skills, hiding in plain sight, weaponry, and how to endure. This art is a way of life and not combat. Every skill you learn in class you can use anywhere you go. There are 9 schools, 3 are ninjutsu:

Gyokko Ryu
Shinden Fudo Ryu
Tagaki Yoshin Ryu
Koto Ryu
Kukishinden Ryu
Togakure Ryu
Gikan Ryu
Gyokushin Ryu
Kumogakure Ryu

The art is old. So are the schools that are taught. Do not have that be a concern. This is as timeless as breathing. Meaning, it may be old but it is not outdated. 🥋 What is Kukishinden Ryu Dakentaijutsu?

Kukishinden Ryu is one of the ancient warrior schools of the Bujinkan, known for its powerful battlefield striking arts.

“Dakentaijutsu” means body-striking art — techniques that use the entire body as a weapon. In Kukishinden Ryu, we train:
