The naked shell of the 1NineIndustries-built THM #263.
Clean, raw, and ready for battle.
It wonβt look anything like this after 1,000 miles of brutal Baja punishment.
Itβs incredible what these machines are engineered to withstand. Tires that tear through razor-sharp rocks, mud, and unforgiving terrain without going flat. Shocks cycling at violent speeds, absorbing impacts so extreme that the conditions canβt even be fully replicated on a shock dyno. Lighting systems powerful enough to navigate complete darkness at 120+ MPH while giving drivers the visibility they need to react in a split second.
And thatβs just scratching the surface.
Every component is pushed to its absolute limit. The chassis, suspension, drivetrain, electronics, and cooling systems all have to survive relentless punishment for hours on end. Thereβs no pulling over to take a break when things get tough.
What most people see is a race truck flying through the desert. What they donβt see is the thousands of hours of engineering, fabrication, testing, and innovation it takes to make that possible.
This is why Offroad racing is so awesomeπͺπ»πͺπ»
