Valkyries, a first year 16u team, played in the Battle in Petal USSSA tournament in the 18u bracket yesterday. The team went undefeated until the championship game. They matched up with a 2nd year 18U team in the championship, and lost 14-3. They had to turn around and play a two-inning shoot out, and won 8-3!! We are beyond proud of all these ladies and how they played yesterday. 🥎🩵💜💪

One day softball won’t be your life anymore.
So for today run as fast as your feet will take you. Rather it’s a pop up to the pitcher, or a hit to the fence run as fast as you can. For today, swing as hard as you can. Commit to every pitch and give it everything you can.
For today, make every play like it’s the last chance you’ll ever get to make that play. Play because you fell in love with the game.
For today, play don’t stop til the last pitch is thrown. Play with every piece of your heart and leave it all on the field.
One day, this game won’t be your life anymore, and when the day comes, makes sure you wouldn’t change a thing. ❤️🙌
