Our entire department is mourning the unexpected death of Retired Officer Mike Cesare. Mike started with the Frankfort Police Department on March 6, 1994. He proudly served until retirement on October 3, 2022. He also was an Indiana State Trooper before coming to FPD. Upon retirement, he began working at
the Frankfort High School teaching various classes wherever he was needed.

Our department is standing beside his family during these rough days ahead. We ask that the community show them how much we all love them. Post a memory or condolences in the comments so they can see the leader he was in our city.

Mike Cesare was a great husband, father teacher, coach, friend and mentor for many. Services are pending at Goodwin Funeral Home.

MISSING! Please share and help find Marlin! He went missing at 4702 West County Road 200 South on April 28th. He is neutered and microchipped and was adopted from the shelter about a year ago. Please comment if you see him!
