Franklin Adult Coed Softball

Looking for a female player to fill a hole in a team. Cost is $60 for the season, the season starts next week.

Tonight's scrimmage from 6-730ish is between 2 specific teams, but people are welcome to hit after. Jerseys will be there to pick up and for those new to the league it will be good to see the rules live.

Hi everyone,
We are getting close to opening day.
This Wednesday night at 6pm we will have two teams scrimmaging, this will be a good time to see the league rules in action. You can also pick up your jersey at this time if you'd like. Coaches, rules will also be available at this time for pickup.

Jerseys are in, a big thank you to Meri-Lyn Bongiovanni at Dukes Designs Apparel DDA for taking that off my plate. We are looking to do a jersey night either next Wednesday or Thursday, I'll keep you posted. The season starts 7/28 at 6pm. We are also looking for some hands next week with some light field prep.

Some people come into your life for a lifetime, and others leave a lifetime of memories in just a few short years. Mark Price was one of those people.

Although I only had the privilege of knowing Marky for the last five or six years, I came to consider him not just a friend, but family—someone who became a valued part of our softball community and our lives.

I had the honor of sharing the field with him as a teammate in several tournaments and competing against him just as many times. No matter what side of the field he was on, Marky was the ultimate competitor.

He played the game the right way—with heart, determination, and a relentless will to compete. He never quit, never backed down, and always gave everything he had. He was the kind of competitor you respected because he let his play do the talking.

When Marky was diagnosed with terminal cancer, he approached that fight the same way he approached every game—with incredible courage, strength, and an unwavering refusal to give up. He battled until the very end, and anyone who knew him knows just how hard he fought.

On behalf of the Franklin Adult Co-Ed Softball League and the entire Kaplan family, we extend our deepest condolences to Marky's family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Marky, thank you for the laughs, the competition, the friendship, and the example you set for all of us. We are better for having known you.
