May is Mental Health Awareness Month and we’ve been highlighting both mental and spiritual health at the Y. As the month comes to an end, our staff wore green today as it is the designated color for .

Green reminds us of new life, renewal, growth and the importance of nature. This vibrant color symbolizes the idea that individuals facing mental health challenges can experience recovery, healing and personal growth in community with others.

You are not alone. Mental health matters at the Y!

As part of National Water Safety Month, we’re excited to introduce AngelEye, an advanced drowning detection system, in our indoor aquatics area. This new technology supports our lifeguards with real-time monitoring to help keep our members and guests safe in the pool. We’re proud to continue prioritizing water safety and look forward to another fun and safe summer together!

We want to inform you of a few upcoming indoor pool closure dates so that we can complete necessary maintenance projects and train our summer aquatics staff.

Friday, May 8: Pool Maintenance
Pool opens: 5:45 a.m. – 6:50 a.m.
Pool closed: 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Pool reopens: 4:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 13: Lifeguard Training
Pool opens: 5:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Pool closed: 12:30 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.
Pool reopens: 3:45 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Sunday, May 17: Lifeguard Training
Pool closed all day

These closures will include the lap pool, therapy pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool area. You are more than welcome to utilize the any of our other locations' aquatic centers during these times. As with any construction, these hours are subject to change. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for your understanding.

The indoor pool area will be closed from 7:00 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1 due to some general maintenance in the Aquatic area. We will open normal hours at 4:45 a.m. and then close at 7:00 a.m. then reopen by 4:15 p.m. both days. This will include the lap pool, therapy pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool area.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause and thank you for your understanding as we complete this work. Please be aware you are welcomed to use any of our sister YMCAs for your aquatic needs.
