Celebrating 14,600 official days as Mr. & Mrs. Scott Humphries and around 15,330 days with this wonderful guy in my life!
40 years goes by fast when laughter and faith carries you through both the highs & lows of life. In those years I’ve learned how to love & communicate better, and appreciate this guy hanging in there through my learning curve. It’s all a learning curve because we are not the same kids that said “I do” all those days ago.
Through all the adventures and the years, I’m so grateful has been a witness to my life, and feel blessed to have been a witness to his. God’s graciousness has abounded to us & I am so very grateful & blessed.
What a fabulous 365 days the last year has been. Here’s to thousands of more fabulous days as Mr. & Mrs. Humphries❣️🥂

Today is the most meaningful holiday for me. We celebrate the greatest event in human history; the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. The tomb is EMPTY.
It is astonishing what love can do!
He is Risen - He is Risen indeed❣️
Have a most blessed Easter ✝️

ADVENT Week 4 - HOPE
The lyrics of Christmas songs are poetic truths that have resounded with me more than usual this year. They have comforted me and given me hope. And this week the greatest hope of all comes to me in the song O Holy Night.
This season I wish for you a thrill of hope and that your soul may feel its worth. We live in the day of the Lord’s favor - the Christ child reminds us of this. His birth is the greatest gift of all to our souls.
As you sing Christmas songs today, pay closer attention to some of that old English language and rejoice even more for our Savior’s birth because, His law is love and His gospel is peace.
That Holy Night changed EVERYTHING!
O holy night, the stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour’s birth;
Long lay the world in sin and error pining,
‘Till he appeared and the soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn;
Chorus
Fall on your knees, Oh hear the angel voices!
O night divine! O night when Christ was born.
O night, O holy night, O night divine.
Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming;
With glowing hearts by his cradle we stand:
So, led by light of a star sweetly gleaming,
Here come the wise men from Orient land,
The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger,
In all our trials born to be our friend;
Chorus
He knows our need, To our weakness no stranger!
Behold your King! Before Him lowly bend!
Behold your King! your King! before him bend!
Truly He taught us to love one another;
His law is Love and His gospel is Peace;
Chains shall he break, for the slave is our brother,
And in his name all oppression shall cease,
Sweet hymns of joy in grateful Chorus raise we;
Let all within us praise his Holy name!
Chorus
Christ is the Lord, then ever! ever praise we!
His pow’r and glory, evermore proclaim!
His pow’r and glory, evermore proclaim!
