Meet Coach Burns, our Offensive Coordinator.

Coach has been married to his wife, Tina, for 20 years, and together they have a son, Luke, who is a freshman at Ole Miss.

With 17 years of coaching experience in Tennessee—including 13 years as an offensive coordinator—Coach brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven record of success. His coaching journey includes stops at Independence, Ensworth, and Dickson County. During his time at Independence, he helped lead the program to a TSSAA State Championship in 2015 and a State Runner-Up finish in 2016. Over those two seasons, his teams compiled an incredible 29-1 record, including an impressive 29-game winning streak.

This year marks an incredible milestone—30 years of Centennial High School! Since opening our doors in 1996, CHS has been more than a school. It’s been a place where lifelong friendships have been made, traditions have been built, and thousands of Cougars have found their home.

Whether you’re a current student, parent, alumnus, former staff member, or community supporter, we want YOU to celebrate with us!
