This one’s for my fellow musicians.
Playing-related pain and overuse issues (often called RSI) are extremely common—studies show the majority of musicians deal with them at some point, especially in the hands, wrists, forearms, neck, and shoulders.
I came across some solid content from another physical therapist who’s also a musician. He’s got practical tips and stretches that can help keep things moving better. Check it out:

Are You Functional for Your Age?
Most people over 50 start losing strength, balance, and confidence — and they just accept it.
You don’t have to though.
I specialize in helping men and women 50+ move better and get stronger using the 7 foundational movement patterns every body needs:
• Push
• Pull
• Hinge
• Squats
• Carries
• Rotationals / Anti-Rotationals
• Planks & Holds
Whether you want less pain, better balance, more energy, or to stay strong for the things you love — training should meet you where you are.
Training as unique as you.
I’m currently accepting new clients for August and offering a FREE consult.

This is a personal/business post and shout out! So proud of my Bess Forshaw. I won’t say the age, but I will say I don’t know many people her age doing a continuous 7 min wall sit and also being able to seated row 85lbs for 10…. Wow! 🤩
Fitness isn’t about everyone always trying to look good in the mirror. It’s about feeling your best and still making progress! That is what it is about!

Willie Nelson's approach to fitness is centered on the philosophy of "moving it or losing it." His daily routine relies on simple movements like jogging in place, sit-ups, arm and leg rolls, and stretching. He also holds a 5th-degree black belt in martial arts, notably GongKwon Yusul and Taekwondo. The Daily RoutineWillie's daily exercises are designed to get his blood flowing and loosen up his muscles rather than train like an athlete.
