PCHS Wrestling

Minutes away from the beginning of State wrestling competition. Good luck to Charity Haven, Eleah Brown, & David Lands!!

Today was round 2 for our boys that qualified at Regions. Of the 3 that qualified, we have 1 advancing to State next week. Our 285 lb, David Lands took 2nd at Sectionals.

This brings our total of State-bound wrestlers to 3. Congratulations to all!

Today our girls traveled to Cleveland High School for Sectionals. Top 4 in each weigh class advance to States next week in Franklin, TN. Both girls qualified! Congratulations girls!

Today the boys traveled to Livingston for the Class A Region 3 tournament. The top 4 in each weight class advance to Sectionals next Saturday. Of the 5 we brought, 3 will be advancing. Congratulations and good luck!

Karson is a sophomore and attends PILA at Polk County. He has been wrestling for 5 years. Outside of wrestling his hobbies include fishing, working on cars, and playing guitar. His plans for the future are to become a diesel mechanic.

Cameron is a senior and attends Polk County High School. He has been wrestling for 4 years. Outside of wrestling Cameron enjoys fishing, video games, hanging out with family and friends and attending Community Fellowship Youth Group. His plans for the future are to attend TCAT for welding and construction.
