We had a wonderful time at our first Finesse Banquet! Thank you to everyone who helped plan and organize this event for our skaters. We were able to recognize all the tests passed this season as well as give out a few special awards.
Miss Congeniality: Svetlana, you are so kind and welcoming to not only your teammates but to everyone you meet. You have made so many friends with skaters from other clubs this season, it’s like you’ve known them for ages. Thank you for being such a wonderful ambassador for our club and for skating overall.
MVP Percentage: Angelica, you have had an amazing season showing off both your technical and artistic sides and growing stronger with each performance. Your first Artistic performance of the season in Lake Placid, even qualified you to compete in the World Figure Sport Championships!
MVP: Rosie, you competed in a whopping 23 solo/partner events this season on top of all your team events! 🤩 You started the season in Beta and finished in Delta all the while competing in every event you could (interpretive, stroking, Solo Compulsories, and solo program). You even took on the challenge of skating on our Freestyle 2 Team Compulsories team like it was no big deal. Your joy for skating is infectious and we can’t wait to see what you do next season!
