We are still living in our camera roll. Want some inspiration for a trip to Acadia? Read on!
Acadia. Two Days. One Epic Adventure. - Hippy Viking Adventures
There’s something magical about squeezing what feels like a week’s worth of adventure into just two days. That’s exactly what happened on our latest Hippy Viking escape to Acadia National Park in Maine. A whirlwind of granite cliffs, salty ocean air, peaceful lakes, lobster boats, sea kayaking...

Kinda chic to be clinging to a tiny tree on the edge of a cliff.
Very chic…
The incredible views.
The situations where gravity becomes a legitimate concern.
The ridiculous stories that start with, “So there I was, hanging off the side of a mountain…”

There are only five more weekends until September. Book a hike, plan a picnic, go watch a sunset!

Tomorrow is National Hammock Day.
Your assignment:
Find two good trees.
Bring a book.
Take an unapologetic nap.
May your hammock angle be 30°...
and your responsibilities be someone else's.
(Yes, 30° is the correct hammock hang. We're nerds. We love this stuff.)

Today is the first day of summer.
It's Father's Day.
.. and, apparently it's National Hike Naked Day.
Not sure who put those three things on the same day and we're not here to judge! Whatever you're celebrating today, we hope it involves fresh air, a little adventure, and at least one story worth telling!
Friendly reminders: Leaves of three, let it be, tick checks are important, and some trail surfaces are less forgiving than they appear.

How to prevent work burnout this summer:
Drink water.
Take breaks.
Get outside.
And if symptoms persist... Book the trip.
Side effects may include standing inside an Icelandic waterfall, forgetting what day it is, and feeling suspiciously happy.
Follow us for more tips.

Raising kids is basically an ultra-endurance event with no aid stations and questionable sleep conditions.
Happy Mother’s Day to the toughest adventurers we know!

We don’t just lead our own adventures - we go out and join them, too!
We took on a guided Via Ferrata experience with the crew at NROCKS in West Virginia and yeah, it delivered. Expect 3.5 - 5 hours of climbing across sheer rock faces, gripping iron rungs, and trusting cables to move through the beautiful landscape in a way most people never do.
It was equal parts strength, focus, and awe.
If you’re craving a little spring fling with a side of adrenaline, this one’s a solid yes!
We’ll keep chasing the good stuff and sharing it with you along the way...
