My sweet advice to expecting parents:
For MOM:
1. Remember that you need to be hugged just as much as the baby; you matter too.
2. Do not listen to everything people tell you. Trust me; no one knows what works for every baby.
3. ASK for help if you need it – it’s OK!
4. All babies are different so never compare yours to another.
5. If you have roller-coast emotions or feel overwhelmed, that’s NORMAL! Please TALK with someone you feel comfortable with and have their support.
For PARTNER: She is giving you a tiny human, so you should give her a lot of support like…
1. Give her all the back rubs or/and foot rubs.
2. Bring her 8oz of water frequently – whenever you see her breastfeeding, she will start complaining about dehydration.
3. Give a HUG when it’s least deserved – it will save you a lot of unnecessary arguments.
4. Please do not keep score of changing diapers or others because she is YOUR teammate. She is already ahead of you for life after pushing a tiny human out.
5. Most importantly, you must find time for your partner, like treat her to a surprise or do something that makes her feel special.

Are we crazy to do this acroyoga, especially since I am 21 weeks pregnant? 😱🫣😳
It is NOT crazy to do this because all yoga poses could increase the chances of a quick and natural birth, causing less stress on the baby. We did practice acroyoga before I was pregnant with 4th and now 5th, which prepares my body, unlike the first time. When we do this pose, we do it without rush and respect our bodies and rhymes, allowing the adaptation to occur without judgment or expectation.
Most importantly, I always encourage people, who are pregnant, who plan to get pregnant, or are not pregnant to take a yoga class to build incredible strength, tone their entire body, feel grounded and connect their minds to support their soul.
