Frederick Bocce Club

A few weeks back, FBC traveled to Westminster to play on their courts in Westminster City Park. We had a great time and made some new friends! Keep on the lookout for future events planned with area clubs.😎

Storms canceled our 2nd tier of games last night! We are reserving the courts so those 8 Teams can play their games tonight. Since some Teams will be missing players, we will be playing for fun (no win/loss recorded). Games will be played at 6:15. Subs may be needed, so come out to join us!

League play is on for tonight! Forecast is showing no additional rain today. If conditions change, check back here or on our Hot Line for an update.🌤️👍

Another rainy Wed … geesh! As of 2:30 pm, light rain at the courts. We have a possibility of storms this evening so we’ll be watching the conditions. Please check back. If you don’t see an update, assume we are having League tonight.👍

It is with great sorrow that we pass along the news of the loss of one of our own.

Melissa Lenk let us know : My husband Paul Lenk died on April 30th by heart attack/blood clot.

Details:

(Private Family viewing begins at 8:30 am to 9:30 am.)

Public Viewing 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Stauffer Funeral Home in Mount Airy MD.

The service at Church 3.0 in Westminster, MD will be at 11 am.

The burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Mount Airy, MD at 1 pm.

As you know, Paul was the Captain of Boccely Crue. He will be greatly missed by his teammates and all of the League Players. Terry Tillman will say a few words on Wednesday and we will have a moment of silence to remember Paul.
