If your age 6 or above child has shown interest in Irish Dance classes, we have our Beginner/Adv. Beginner Irish Dance Class starting this evening from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. We welcome you in this evening (Thursday 9/4 for a FREE Trial Irish Dance Class. Come on in and introduce yourself to Ms. Darla, our Irish Dance Program Coordinator. Please text Ms. Carrie at 301-606-1737 with your child's name to let us know that you would like to participate. We look forward to welcoming you into our BJCDA Dance Family.

Why do we DANCE?

At BJCDA, we dance for the joy of it.
We dance to move, to learn, to grow—and most of all, to express ourselves. 💃

Our founder, Ms. Bettie, taught us that dance is its own language—a way to bring emotion, feeling, and music to life. Whether you're a teacher or a student, there’s something magical about what happens when we step onto the dance floor. And, our current Director Bryant-Render feels very much the same way. What we do is to share the LOVE of it all. It is an easy way to come together with friends, get moving in health and wellness, keep your mind engaged in learning, and to surround yourself with people who just want to grow and have fun doing it!

At BJCDA, there’s no pressure of competition, but we deeply value strong technique and offer training in all styles of dance. Our combo classes are thoughtfully designed to give students the chance to explore tap, jazz, and ballet together—without forcing families to choose one style over another due to cost. We believe dance should be accessible, affordable, and enriching for everyone.

BJCDA Alumni! There's still time to send your photos and videos from your time dancing with us to include in our alumni dance presentation during our 65th recital next weekend. We'd love to include anything from moments at competitions, Ballenger rehearsals, and post-recital dinners from shows past.
