Happy July 4th Everyone! Thank you to all who serve and make it possible for us to chase the American dream in the greatest country in the world! It’s wild we have been so blessed to make it this far and are so close to opening the new facility to the public! Thank you to our community and thank you to America’s heroes! Any veteran or active duty please come anytime during July and receive a free climbing day for you and your family!
July 4th we are closed and normal hours on July 5th for members and punch passes.
Please enjoy your day celebrating and make sure to send a Vet a thank you text for fighting for our freedoms, it might make a huge difference for that hero!

THE BOULDER YARD OPENING UPDATE 📢
Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside our control, we won’t be open to the public until later in July. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, but we are hard at work trying to get the facility open to everyone as soon as possible. Members and punch pass holders can still use the facility!

The USA youth comp is sold out! Please sign up for collegiate or citizens we have a few spots left in there and finals(9:30)pm is going to be sick with prizes/cash purse to be won. Thank you everyone for the support, we have been for working hard for several months to make this the best comp yet! Wear your costumes!
Oh and we just had several kegs donated for the comp. Come spectate and enjoy cheering on some of the strongest around throw down!

Reminder to sign up for the Collegiate Competition for Boulder Battle!
It will take place at the same time (5:30 pm start) as the Citizens competition but sign up is through USA Climbing and the competition group is separate.

Not a member with USA climbing , in college, but still want to compete?
Then the Citizens competition is the perfect opportunity to try out a different climbing challenge.
It starts at 5:30 pm on November 5th, and registration can be found on our website www.theboulderyardmd.com

We swapped MYC with MYB because the competition has reached the base limit, but if you are interested in competing please add yourself to the wait list. We'll review all competitors on the wait list over the weekend and will approve as many as we can while maintaining per session limits to provide the best experience for all competitors. So the faster you join the waitlist the better chance you have of being able to compete. Wait list approvals should be sent no later than Monday and you must complete registration by 11:59pm MT on Wednesday.
We also need Volunteers. Due to limited space if you want to ensure you have a front row view of your child or friend climbing sign up to volunteer.

New Walls! New Floors! New Competition! will be hosting our annual .youth.81 youth competition, competition, and our first citizens Halloween competition.
Come out and compete in your costumes for cool prizes and a chance to make it into finals. Youth will be allowed to use scores from daytime to qualify for finals at night. Costumes are encouraged, every round will have a costume winner! Voting for best costume of the night will take place before finals!
USA climbing registration will open October 14th at 8pm ET and close Nov 3rd 1:59am ET
We will need volunteers for the comp, live up close viewing may be limited, so sign up to ensure your right up in the action.
