Good afternoon. Introducing our Bee Brave Buddy of the day today, Miss Violet from Maryland! Miss Violet was diagnosed with leukemia the day she turned 2 and half in 2015. She has spent many days and months in the hospital, so on this special day BBB day we want everyone to please take a minute to send some LOVE and HUGs to this sweet Baby HERO! WE hope she is snuggled up today with her Catie Cudlles Bee Brave Buddies dollie! Catie loves to Cuddle!

A special thank you to Sue who just purchased some burp cloths from Lil' Impressions. She got some great burp cloths and Lil' Impressions will be donating the purchase price to Violet's medical fund in her name. If you need baby items or pillowcases for your child, go to our store. Great stuff and for a great cause.
BUST MY STASH - ALL PROCEEDS FROM SPECIAL ITEMS GO TO VIOLET'S MEDICAL FUND AND DAY-TO-DAY EXPENSES FOR HER FAMILY - Nearly one year later and Violet is doing well but the costs continue to be challenging for the family. She is expected to be in treatment until early 2018 assuming there are no setbacks so this is a long-term process. Also, many people don't realize that the "cure" can also have devastating effects on her little developing body. At times her bones hurt and she cannot walk. Her appetite and her cognitive abilities can be affected as well, though both appear to be okay at this point.

This week I had a request for some potty training pants for a full grown teenager with autism spectrum disorder. He is apparently similar to a three year old on a cognitive level. Having never made them for a big person before, I created a prototype and I can't wait to see if it works out for them. Here are a few pics.
