**WARNING FOR FREDERICK**
You know we never shy away from speaking our minds about 2A. This is no different. A vote for Karl Bickel is a vote I truly believe will make Frederick dangerous. This isnt even regarding policy (which matters greatly and this is not an endorsement of his policy) but it is his very character that will make our beloved town dangerous.
We know that our industry is a politically charged one. But we are proud to be in this industry because we believe in it. When the ATF CHANGED a rule and tried to retroactively apply it, we did NOT back down or cower in fear, even when offered the sweetest plea. We stand on truth COME WHAT MAY and we put our money where our mouth is. Rather than lie and take a plea, we endured a week long federal trial and heard the JURY say NOT GUILTY.
Karl Bickel is so blinded by his hatred of our current sheriff that he has made a photo of TMGN owner Rob Krop (my husband) as his background photo. WEIRD. BIZARRE. Many times I offered to meet with Bickel and his campaign, letting him know that he is either unintentionally misrepresenting what happened or outright lying. I said he can name the time, place, he can livestream it, and bring whoever he pleases and ask any questions his heart desires. We have nothing to hide. Rather than accept this offer to pursue truth, Bickel has BLOCKED us!
A man whose character is defined by petty, vindictive muckraking has no business seeking the honorable position of Sheriff. You would be better voting for a potato than Karl Bickel.
We are no strangers to trolls, but when a candidate for sheriff of the town you live in makes your husband his background photo, you cant help but wonder if he's the type to show up at your house to steal his hair and make a voodoo doll of him or some other bizarre thing. It is unhinged behavior, period!
