Post 290 Bombers Girls Fastpitch Travel Softball

First tournament of the weekend for the 18U Bombers was a college showcase tournament. The girls went 3-2-1 on the weekend and totaled up 5 (4 from Belle Smith and 1 from Sarah Wallace) home runs on the weekend!

Colonial Forge High School had their softball awards banquet this evening. Three prestigious awards was given out by the high school coaches. Belle Smith was awarded “offensive player of the year”; Madelyn Woods was awarded “defensive player of the year”; and Madelyn Parker was awarded “coaches gold award” for all around school and athletic performance. All 3 of these girls began with the Post 290 Bombers 10U team in 2017 under Coach Jeff Smith and Coach Jill Parker. These three girls have played together for the last almost 10 years and all deserved each award that was awarded by their high school team this evening. Congratulations girls, well deserved!
