We’re getting the 540 family together for a FREE Farewell Open Gym to celebrate Coach Tim Moler this Friday from 5 to 7 pm before he heads into his next chapter!

Coach Tim has been a huge part of 540 and has made an impact on so many of our athletes, coaches and families. If you’ve been around him in the gym, you know that you’re getting plenty of jokes, plenty of laughs and absolutely no shortage of being told what you need to do better.😂

He has always had a great way of connecting with athletes while still pushing them hard, holding them accountable and expecting them to put in the work. His commitment to developing athletes and helping them grow has set a great example for everyone around him.

He is also one of those people who never really needed to be asked to help. Always looking for an excuse to jump into a gym, work with a group, help another coach or take on whatever needed to be done. He’s been someone we could always count on and more importantly, someone we’ve genuinely enjoyed having around. We’re definitely going to miss having Coach Tim at 540 and there’s no replacing what he has brought to our gym. But we’re excited for what’s ahead for him and his partner Phil and wish them nothing but the best in their next chapter!

We know there are a lot of athletes, coaches and families who are going to want the opportunity to see Tim and say goodbye before he goes and we figured there was no better way to send him off than getting everyone together in the gym one more time.

The Open Gym is open to 540 athletes, coaches and families. We’ll also have snacks and light refreshments available for everyone.

Aubrey’s precision as a setter and exceptional decision-making defined her game throughout her time with us. Her ability to read the game, lead an offense and consistently make the right play made her an exceptional setter and a true extension of the coaching staff on the court.

Her volleyball IQ, composure and leadership left was a huge factor in 18 Elite’s success.

We are excited to see her take that game to the next level and know that she’s absolutely ready for it.

Dependable, hardworking and always ready to compete. Kylie was an important part of 18 Navy, bringing consistency, determination and a team-first mindset every time she stepped on the court.

Her commitment to getting better and doing whatever the team needed made a lasting impact throughout the season.

We are so happy for her and excited to this big next chapter.

Elizabeth York → next level 📍

Reliable, versatile and always ready to do what the team needed. Elizabeth made an impact for 18 Elite all season, excelling on the right side and stepping into the middle when called upon without missing a beat.

Her willingness to embrace every challenge and compete wherever she was needed helped make her team better.

We couldn’t be more proud of all she’s accomplished and excited to see what’s next.

What an incredible day at 540!

This weekend we had the privilege of welcoming USA National Team libero, NCAA National Champion and LOVB Champion Zoe Jarvis (previously Fleck) along with her husband Robbie to 540 Volleyball Academy for an unforgettable afternoon of training.

From the first drill to the final Q&A, Zoe invested in every athlete in the gym. She challenged them, encouraged them, answered countless questions and shared the techniques, habits and mindset that have taken her from a walk-on to competing on the biggest stages in the world.

A huge thank you to Zoe and Robbie for sharing your time, knowledge and passion with our athletes. Thank you as well to our incredible 540 coaching staff for helping create an outstanding learning environment throughout the day.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the athletes and families who chose to spend your Sunday with us. Your energy, enthusiasm and commitment to improving made this an incredible experience.

This camp is another step in our commitment to providing athletes in our region with access to the highest level of coaching, learning and exposure possible. We have some exciting things in the works and this is only the beginning. We can’t wait to continue creating opportunities that help our athletes grow both on and off the court.
