Hello all! As it’s been a while, I wanted to give an update. First of all, I can’t thank you enough for all of your support! I greatly appreciate the prayers, kind words, and thoughts! They mean a lot to me and Janel. The biggest question I get is, what’s going on? Truthfully, nothing. I mean, I’m busy getting info for insurance and such. However, this is going to take some time. If you go by the store, you can tell it’s just boarded. The inside is completely ruined though. I’d say 20-30% of the store was damaged by fire. What was not damaged by fire got ruined by water and smoke. For example, all our golf bags are just sitting there “just fine”. I promise you though, they are covered in soot and soaked and have been soaked since December 5th. What’s next is still to be determined. Are we staying there, moving, other? Again, time will tell. I do know this isn’t a quick fix. I have some guesses of what the landlord might do. I just don’t want to make assumptions or start rumors. Thank you again for all of your support and patience!

I am truly overwhelmed for sure with all the love and support I'm getting from everyone. I can't possibly thank everyone enough. As I mentioned yesterday, everybody got out safely and to my knowledge there were no injuries. Many have reached out to offer help in many ways. Again, I can't thank you enough. At this time (and I stress at this time!) While Janel and I are in shock or disbelief or you can fill in your own adjective here, we doing ok. We are at the point of just making phone calls and then waiting for phone calls. Within this next week I will have a better feel of what we need. We just ask for prayers of peace not for just us, but the other business owners too.
