Looking to dive deeper into the wisdom of the Yoga Sutras?
Join our Sutra Study Group to connect with your sangha and deepen your practice β€οΈ
We will meet on Facebook Live on the first Sunday of each month for about 15 minutes to present the (2-3) Sutras we will be working with for the upcoming month.
On the last Sunday of the month, we will meet live via Zoom for an hour long discussion of what we have learned, how the Sutras have applied to our lives, and to hear each other's experiences.
Our first meeting will be Sunday, November 1st at 4pm.

As we have entered Vata season, a season of letting go, windiness, and with a focus on thinking, our Nidra will take us out of our minds and into our bodies. We will focus on grounding as a way to balance the airiness of this season and our mantra tonight will be SURRENDER π

Lately I've been feeling like I need to practice Reiki more often, and I've especially been working with distance Reiki.
If you are feeling like you could use some Reiki to support you right now, help you with a specific challenge, or maybe you just need a 'hug' of energy, send me a private message. I would like to include as many people in my distance practices as I can.
Nothing is required from you, in your message you can leave me as much or as little information about yourself as you feel comfortable with (just an emoji is fine too ;)), and I'll send some distance Reiki to you.

Hello out there beautiful people! How are you? β₯οΈ
I am pleased to have a new video for you all, a video I have been wanting to make for some time, but did not have the time until now π
I'm calling it Pose Perspective. Using my knowledge of anatomy (as a professor, student of anatomy gurus Judith Lasater and Mary Richards, and certifiable anatomy nerd), and the wisdom of yoga to dive deeper into our yoga practice one pose at a time (similar to my Healthy Posture workshop Dragonfly Yoga Studio).
This first video takes a look at Chair Pose (Utkatasana), and I encourage you to get on your mat with me and try it out for yourself. Please send me any feedback you have (positive, negative, neutral) about your experience, and if there is a pose you'd like to explore with me leave a suggestion in the comments below!
Finally, if you feel called to do so, please consider making a donation to your local yoga studio and/or yoga teachers. These are challenging times and community support really can go a long way π. If you are unable to make a donation, worry not! It is in no way required. All I require of you is to donate some time to yourself. Whether it be on your mat, in the garden, or washing dishes - continue your yoga practice. Yoga is not just for when we feel good, allow your practice to support you - especially in the challenging moments.

Good morning yogis!
For our practice this morning I recommend you have 2 blocks, 3 blankets, 1 bolster, and 1 strap.
Don't worry if you don't have fancy yoga props ;)
- Books can sub in for blocks
- Bed blankets or towels can be used for blankets
- Pillows can be used as a bolster
- A belt or karate belt or jacket belt can be used as a strap
Make yourself some tea and get cozy.
