Kokosing Valley Junior Anglers

A huge congratulations to Sylas Mizer and Caleb Inverso for representing Kokosing Valley Junior Anglers on one of the biggest stages in high school fishing at the World Finals!

After an outstanding Day 1, they climbed as high as 6th place in the World Championship division. They battled through one of the toughest fields in youth fishing to finish as one of only two Ohio teams to advance to the World Semifinals, ultimately earning an impressive 49th-place overall finish against the best anglers in the world.

Their determination, preparation, and perseverance throughout the week were something to be proud of. While the final standings don’t tell the whole story, their performance showcased the talent, character, and grit that define KVJA.

Sylas and Caleb, thank you for representing our club, your families, and the state of Ohio with class. We couldn’t be prouder of what you accomplished. The future is bright, and this is just another step in what we know will be a successful journey.

Here are the rules for the youth tournament on July 18th!

KVJA anglers Brantley Bible and Drew Trout are in attendance! They are excited to learn and network with fellow anglers across the nation!

The Ohio Bass Nation Youth State Championship is officially in the books. Thank you to all parents, grandparents, captains, coaches, friends, sponsors, and even local DNR officers for coming out to support our youth anglers.

Hey everyone.

Unfortunately the water level has not cooperated with us. We will be moving to the Morning Glory Boat Ramp.

Image attached. The ramp is clear and DNR has approved the switch.

If you're looking at the ramp from the parking lot - boats will stage to the right of the ramp. We will launch from right to left past the docks.

All times are the same as listed in the original email.

Additionally - regarding the Bass limits, we've had some conversations with DNR, and will be making an adjustment.

4 fish limit - per team (not per angler)
2 fish over 15"
2 fish 12" - 15"
