This Sussex County NJ bear looks to be the victim of a poorly designed bait barrel. Please be careful. He will likely have a difficult time denning if he makes it through the season.

A 250 lb. NJ black bear sow was harvested in Jefferson NJ by
Bummer Cronk. Bummer used a 2 3/4" Lightfield in an H&R.
Hit behind the shoulder, the bear went down in 50 yards.
Bummers son, Hunter Cronk also harvested nice bear using
a 20 ga Lightfield. Congrats to both sportsmen.
