That’s a wrap on summer basketball! 🏀

Thank you to all those players that have put in the time to get better this summer and for the delicious cookies.

We will see middle schoolers on August 24th for a great start to the middle school basketball season! 

People have been asking questions about our program and how quickly these girls are developing, not only with their skills, but with their overall knowledge and understanding of the game.

The answer comes down to one thing: they love basketball. 🏀

This summer has been a perfect example of that. We had six players from our program in Kentucky in the middle of July competing at high levels. We have other players growing through their travel programs, and we have girls coming in during the week to get extra shots up, work on skills, and continue learning the game. This effort is coming from 7th-12th graders.

That is what makes this group special.

I am so lucky to have the privilege of watching these girls grow, as players, teammates, and people. Their commitment, passion, and willingness to put in the extra work is what will continue to make this program great.

Congratulations Lily, Julia, Brystal and the rest of their squad. These girls played up a division and won the championship! 🏀

Rest of summer updates/information 🏀

What a way to close out another week of summer basketball.

The Lady Falcons went 12-2 this week while competing at BCAM Reaching Higher, Ferris State, and Northwood University team camps playing some of the top teams in the state.

While we’re proud of the results, we’re even more proud of the growth, toughness, and togetherness this group showed every time they stepped on the floor.

This June has been packed with a youth camp, scrimmages, practices, and countless hours investing in each other and our program. Every experience has helped lay another brick in the foundation we’re building.

We’ll enjoy a well-deserved week of rest before our focus shifts to sharpening the details and finishing the summer the right way. We’re excited to see where this group’s commitment takes us. 🏀💚

Our girls have been working hard, and other people are noticing. Some good write ups, highlighting some of our girls and the things that they’ve accomplished in this past week.

As a team we have improved so much and everyone has contributed, and it is only going to make us better.

Lady Falcons went 3-0 today at the Ferris State Shootout. Your lady Falcons beat Onekama, Muskegon, and McBain, which are great competition for our Falcons! Thank you for Ferris coaches and players for a great experience. 🏀
